This year's Meeting will take place from 28 October to 2 November 2007. It will be held at the Menzies Hotel, Sydney, which is in the central business district of Sydney, near the famous Rocks area. The Meeting will be complemented by several Satellite Meetings, Workshops and Symposia.

In addition to the APMP Technical Committee Meetings and General Assembly, the APMP 2007 Organising Committee is working with the hosts of the international ILAC/IAF 2007 meetings in Sydney (NATA and JAS-ANZ) to develop a joint half-day Symposium to discuss issues of mutual relevance to both the metrology and accreditation communities. Further details will be available in due course.

Sydney Ranked World's Best City
Australia's biggest city, Sydney, has again been named the world's best city by readers of the U.S magazine Travel and Leisure. It is the eighth time in ten years that Sydney has topped the list.

Sydney's delights include its spectacular harbour and the Harbour Bridge, the Opera House, the Botanical Gardens, the Aquarium, the Australian Museum, Centre Point Tower, Chinatown, Woolloomooloo wharf, the Queen Victoria Building, Taronga Zoo, Bondi Beach and Hyde Park.

Stay a few extra days and explore the Blue Mountains and the Hunter Valley, and more distantly the Great Barrier Reef and Ayers Rock.

We look forward to welcoming you to Sydney, Australia, for the APMP 2007 Meetings.
